Yes, we create custom commissions, and we would love to discuss your ideas and bring them to life. Here’s a step-by-step overview of our commission process:

1. Initial Consultation
Once you reach out, we’ll arrange a time to discuss your vision. Whether in person at the gallery, over the phone, or via FaceTime, we’ll connect to explore your ideas, preferences, and the details that will shape the final piece. During this conversation, we’ll cover key elements such as the color palette, pose, character references, the overall theme of the artwork, and framing options. We’ll guide you through frame styles and colors that will complement your piece, ensuring the final artwork is truly cohesive and ready to hang.
 

2. Quote
After understanding your vision, we’ll provide a quote and an estimated timeline for completion. To proceed, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your commission. This deposit covers materials and the time we’ll invest in creating your custom artwork.

 

3. Creation Process
With your approval, we’ll begin the creative process. This is where the magic happens! Throughout the process, we put our full passion and skill into making your vision come to life.

4. Progress Check-In
As we work on your commission, we do not send progress photos. While we understand the anticipation, we believe in letting the piece unfold naturally. Sending photos of a work-in-progress is a bit like sending a picture of a cake batter before it’s baked—it's not the full picture, and it doesn’t do the final product justice. Trust that we are professional artists with years of experience, and we approach each commission with care and attention to detail. We are dedicated to delivering the best possible result, and our expertise ensures that the final piece will exceed your expectations.

When the artwork is nearing completion, we will reach out to arrange the "reveal," where you’ll get to see the finished piece. You can choose to:

• Reveal it in person at the gallery, where you can see the completed artwork for the first time, or

• Receive digital photos of the finished piece, though please remember that photos can never fully capture the depth, texture, and true colors of an artwork. Nothing compares to seeing it in person.

 

5. Final Payment, Collection or Delivery
After the reveal, we’ll arrange for the balance of the payment to be settled. Once the final payment is made, we’ll either hand over the painting in person or ship it to you, depending on your preference and what was included in your quote.

 

Please Note:

• We do not accept returns or exchanges on commissioned pieces.

• Unless you specify otherwise, we may share images of your custom painting on our social media or in other promotional materials.
